Hiring Frame Building/Assembler

We have an immediate full-time opening available for the right assembler to assist our firm with continued growth in this new endeavour. The Operator is a critical part of our company so it’s important that the person we choose will be a “fit” to our commitments and shared values.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

While you do not need to be an experienced builder to apply, we do expect applicants to have some experience physical labour, hand tools, and the willingness/ability to work in the shop environment. In addition to assembling frames, you may also be asked to help with blasting or other preparation tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remove materials from storage and bring into the shop for operation.

• Cut the materials to size as per drawings using bandsaw.

• Study drawings and ensure assembly of the frames is correct.

• Add all the hardware as needed and according to drawings.

• Design and assemble custom designed skids for each set.

• Load and unload (or assist) transport trailers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous work experience will be considered an asset.

• Experience working with hand and power tools and or other similar equipment

• Physical stamina

COMPENSATION

• Pay depending on experience

• Vacation Pay

• Other allowances applied after probation period
