We have an immediate full-time opening available for the right Blasting Operator to assist our firm with continued growth. The Operator is a critical part of our company so it’s important that the person we choose will be a “fit” to our commitments and shared values.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

While you do not need to be an experienced sandblaster to apply, we do expect applicants to have some training with the heavy equipment, power tools and the willingness/ability to work in the construction environment. In addition to operating the blast operation in our mobile unit, you may also be asked to help with painting or coating tasks after the blast team has removed the unwanted substances from the surface.

SANDBLASTER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup and take down of the blasting tools when on the job site

• Operate the abrasive blaster equipment and similar equipment

• Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces (Training will be provided)

• Assist with painting or coating as needed

• Fulfill other similar positions as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous sandblasting experience or training will be considered an asset (will train)

• Experience working with heavy equipment and other similar equipment

• Physical stamina

• Familiarity with power tools

COMPENSATION

• Pay depending on experience

• Vacation Pay

• Other allowances applied after probation period
