JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
While you do not need to be an experienced Painter to apply, we do expect applicants to have some training with coatings and the willingness/ability to work in the construction environment. In addition to operating the painting operation, you may also be asked to help with blasting or other preparation tasks.
PAINTER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage expectations from the painter's position on each project
Paint with air/airless sprayers, on occasion with rollers and brush
Work with Manager to understand project, take instructions well.
Understand painting requirements according to specifications and regulations.
Have all the safety training up to date
Understand scheduling of projects coming in
REQUIREMENTS
Previous painting experience or training will be considered an asset (will train)
Experience working with heavy equipment and or other similar equipment
Physical stamina
Familiarity with power tools
COMPENSATION
Pay depending on experience
Vacation Pay
Other allowances applied after probation period
